Services offered
All new patients are seen in an initial evaluation lasting 45-55 minutes. Occasionally it takes more than one session to complete an evaluation.
At the end of this evaluation the psychiatrist determines a diagnosis and a treatment plan. He also determines if these services can be rendered in our setting. For example, some patients need in-hospital treatment or referral to a detox. Unit.
Occasionally the patient does not feel comfortable and may request a referral to one that speaks a different language.
For those that stay in treatment the psychiatrist may provide one or more forms of treatment. These may include
Individual psychotherapy (talk therapy, counseling)
Psychopharmacology (Medications)
Family therapy or marital therapy
We do not accept Workmen’s Compensation Cases, and do not do Forensic work.
